Faces of Shift with Hayley Stephenson
Join us in welcoming the newest member to the Shift Workspaces team, Hayley Stephenson. Hayley has joined the team as our new Member Coordinator. We are excited for everyone to learn more about Hayley and look forward to what she will be able to bring to the team.
Where are you from originally?
I am a Colorado Native originating from a small town called Swink, located on the southeastern corner of Colorado. I spent my childhood and teen years growing up there until it was time to shake things up and head to Denver.
What were you doing prior from joining Shift?
Prior to joining Shift, I was working temporarily as a Conference & Event Manager for various trade associations. Before that, I was assisting in management at a Barre Studio in Stapleton for a few years while I was finishing off my bachelor’s degree.
What excited you about joining Shift?
When I saw the opening for Shift, I was immediately energized about the idea of being a part of a coworking environment! I love learning about different businesses, how people chose the industry they work in, and that each day is going to be different. I also am a huge believer in work-life balance and like how Shift makes that aspect easier for their members.
What do you like to do when you’re not working?
I’m a passionate reader and will often just curl up on the couch with my favorite book or head down to The Tattered Cover and wander around for a few hours, losing myself in all the stories. I also enjoy going to the movies, trying out new restaurants around Denver, taking my dog Max to the park, and spending time with friends and family.
Favorite restaurant or dish in Denver?
Denver has a plethora of great restaurants that it is so hard to just pick one! I would say the few places my friends and I repeatedly visit are D Bar, The Lobby, and Liks.
What do you want to accomplish within your role?
Within my role, I want to learn more about the coworking environment as a whole and help to grow the Shift Community in every way. I am equally excited to create relationships with the Shift Members, as well as be a part of a collaborative and motivated team.
